About - Nik Haverkamp
martial artist and naturopath, combines kung fu, internal arts and Chinese medicine with over 25 years of experience.
Nik Haverkamp started training Kung Fu at a very early age. Having been in many fights in his youth, he developed a keen interest in Martial Arts. In San Francisco, the Kung Fu capital in the USA, Nik received his Master title after training for 10 years in Long Ying (“Dragon Kung Fu”), Bak Mei (“White Eyebrow Kung Fu”) and bare knuckle sparring under Master Zhong.
Wanting to learn more he has over the years studied Systema, Yi Quan, Mian Jiang and different forms of internal Arts.
Since 2020 Nik has been a student of Grandmaster Jiang Yushan from the Trinity System and Monkey Fist Door. Nik received permission to teach this unique and complete system consisting of Soft and Hard Qigong, External and Internal Forms and hand and arm conditioning.
To complement these skills Nik received his approbation in 2014 as a Heilpraktiker (“Naturopath”) and studied and run a practice in Acupuncture according to Classical Chinese Medicine and Osteopathy. He has specialized in Manual Therapy.
